invite you to become a member of The Zen Society.
The Zen
Society exists to inspire, nourish and support people of all
faiths and traditions in their
everyday life.
Our Mission
is to help individuals and society live more peacefully, harmoniously and
compassionately.
Members are people who feel that The Zen Society is an
important part of their lives and a valuable contribution to promoting
the dignity of all life in the world, and who wish to express that feeling by
joining the community and supporting the efforts of Seijaku Roshi
and
the Sangha.
(Practicing "Dharma Beyond Buddhism", at no time does The Zen
Society exist to promote any religious doctrines or dogma, and shares no formal affiliation with other Zen
groups, denominations, or any hierarchy of Dharma Successors.)

Your gift to The Zen
Society is an important way to support the flowering of
compassion and wisdom practice in the world. Your contribution
will go to support Zen Center's programs, including our public
lectures and outreach programs in the community, as well as
sustaining our training programs for the Lay-Person.
The income from our self-support activities is not sufficient to support
all our programs, nor would we wish it to be. Authentic spiritually
grounded communities have always relied on the generosity of their
supporters and the public as a way to encourage the realization that, at the most basic
level, we are all connected to and depend upon each other.
The practice
of giving complements the path of meditation as a way leading to the
recognition of our deep bond with one another and with all living
beings.
Please give as generously as you can. The amount of your pledge is your personal decision. We encourage
members to pledge their financial support at a level appropriate to their
means and their desire.
The Zen Society is a
nonprofit 501C-3 organization, and donations are normally
tax-deductible. Your donation is fully deductible to the full
amount allowed by law.
No portion of your donation is used
to compensate any individual member, director, or officer of The Zen
Society including Seijaku Roshi.
