The Friends of Pine Wind
At Pine Wind Zen Center, we appreciate your generosity and the support of our sangha, programs, and our practice. It is only through the kindness of our friends, supporters, and benefactors that we continue along this path.
To be a part of the Friends of Pine Wind, simply complete the form below.
You may choose to make your donation by credit card or by check. We Invite you to join us in our effort to be a compassionate, loving, and powerful force for a better world. For nearly 30 years people of all faiths have been coming to The Zen Society. In a spirit of curiosity and with good intentions they continue to come, and we have seen a growing community of members and guests that strive to dwell in awareness, harmony, and kindness.
We are a community that practices Zen and the teachings of Authentic Spirituality as handed down by Seijaku Roshi and the Monks of Pine Wind.
With our world facing so many challenges, we are all being called to look deeply at our lives and make a commitment to supporting a more sustainable future for ourselves and for all beings.
We are committed to cultivating a practice welcoming diversity by incorporating into Zen Center's training the dissolving of all barriers that perpetuate the suffering of separation, prejudice, and discrimination. We intend to expand and develop our awareness of the ways we are conditioned to separate ourselves by race, religion, class, gender, age, ability, sexual orientation, and other forms of cultural identity. We believe that such societal conditioning hinders our ability to see everyone as Buddha (Enlightened).
If you share our deep conviction that more than ever the world needs examples of wisdom and compassion and teachings of how people can live their lives in a sustainable way, we invite you to make a commitment now and become a member of The Zen Society, Pine Wind Zen Center.
Become a member not only for the benefits that you will receive, or even for the benefits Zen Center will receive, but more importantly, to be a part of an ever-widening circle of support for countless others to find the path of peace and harmony.
All levels of Membership are tax deductible. The amount of your support depends entirely on you. At the end of the year you will receive a letter of acknowledgement stating how much of your donation is tax deductible. Below are the three Membership levels to choose from.
