Zen Meditation is a
simple yet profound method proven to improve the quality of our
lives. Through following very simple, practical instructions we
can learn to let go of the causes of our stress and
dissatisfaction and to gain the inner peace and clarity we seek.
Zen is a spiritual tradition that guides us in uncovering our
inherent wisdom and compassion. Zen empowers us to discover who
we really are by engaging a simple yet profound practice
(meditation) called - shikantaza - just sitting. The Way of Zen
helps us discover how to recognize and settle into our place in
the world, and to encounter it through the quality of all
victorious mastery.
Having no dogmas or conventional religious doctrines Zen
Meditation has proven beneficial for persons from any
religious or spiritual background.
First time guests are encouraged to attend either a
Sunday
Morning Program or one of many meditation classes offered
throughout the year
prior to sitting regularly at Pine Wind.
