Zazenkai and Sesshin (Meditation Retreats)

Zazenkai - the day includes a Dharma Talk by Seijaku roshi, periods of seated meditation, walking meditation, formal meals, private spiritual direction with Seijaku roshi, and work practice.

Sesshin - The entire day is in silence and includes periods of seated meditation, walking meditation, formal meals, private spiritual direction with Seijaku Roshi, Liturgy, and work practice.

Educational Programs

This program is intended to help participants develop a sustainable daily meditation practice and the basic skills of mindfulness and body awareness, as well as achieve a basic academic understanding of Zen and Buddhist philosophy and how it applies to living life effectively in the 21st Century.
